The primary objective of research and development at the Faculty of Medicine, Palacky University, Olomouc, is characterized by approved long-term research priorities:

  5. Molecular / biological, immunological and epidemiological approaches.

The primary research and development directions embedded in the Statute of the Faculty of Medicine, Palacky University, are as follows:

  1. origin, development and therapy of tumors,
  2. origin, development and therapy of cardio-vascular diseases,
  3. mechanism of effects of physiologically and pharmacologically active substances,
  4. molecular/biological nature of physiological and pathological conditions,
  5. study of immuno-pathological processes and allergic conditions,
  6. genetic nature and diagnostics of inborn development defects and hereditary diseases,
  7. transplantation of tissues and organs, epidemiology of civilizational diseases.
