Subject and goal of the research plan

  1. Induction of specific systemic immune response as prevention of systemic infections (borreliosis, HIV-1 infection) and superficial skin infections (trichophytosis).
  2. Induction of specific mucosal immune response as prevention of mucosal localized infection (vaginal candidosis) and mucosa-transferred infection (HIV-1 infection).
  3. Testing fusion DNA vaccines for modulation of antigen-specific immune response for targeted induction of humoral or cellular response as prevention of infectious diseases, inflammatory and allergic conditions.
  4. New possibilities of diagnostics of pathogenic bacteria, virulence factors and resistance to antimicrobial agents. Elaborating and verifying possibilities of new methods for rapid detection of pathogenic organisms using physico-chemical methods based on interaction of organized layers of metal nanoparticles with these pathogens, i.e. their specific parts.
  5. Prevention of development and spread of bacterial resistance in human and animal environments.
  6. Developing new types of substances with antibacterial and antifungal effects containing silver nanoparticles.
